How shipping works
RoRo (Roll-on/Roll-off)
The car is driven directly onto a purpose-built RoRo (Roll-on/Roll-off) vessel and secured in place for the voyage - no container, no disassembly. It's the standard way to ship a single passenger vehicle, and usually the most cost-effective option for one car.
Container
The car travels inside its own shipping container (typically a 40' high-cube), fully enclosed and protected from sea exposure for the whole voyage - a good option if you'd rather your car not be exposed to the elements in transit.
